I would have absolutely no hesitation in using the services of the Hong Kong Visa Centre again

“I decided a little while ago to venture out of the safety of my kitchen into the world of marketing and publishing. As an established chef, with 22 years of skin in the game, branching out requires the advice of experts, especially when you go from ‘being marketed’ to ‘marketing others’.

To this end I wanted to employ someone with a good grasp of writing, marketing and food.

With it being slightly different from the core of what my business is, taking on the task of handling the application side of the visa was left to the best-in-the-business.

I am one of those old fashioned types who prefer to put everything in the capable hands of those in the know, so I had every confidence that the team at Hong Kong Visa Centre would handle it properly.

I have known Stephen Barnes for some time now. In fact this week, he and his team pulled a rabbit out of the hat for me, not only in securing the work visa for a new staff member for my business, but also handling my personal Hong Kong Permanent Residence.

I know Stephen puts a lot of information out there for free and that the process, if you follow his online advice, will get you much there eventually, but this was not the way I chose to go.

I chose the Platinum package – it was actually great value, given the amount of work it takes to do these things.

Why did I choose this option?  Peace of mind.

I was given a list of paperwork needed. I got it together.  Stephen came round. I signed. That’s all I had to do. As simple as that and within a mind-blowingly quick 2 weeks it was all done.

Hassle free, stress free and professionally handled from start to finish.

Perhaps I am lazy, for sure I don’t mind paying a little extra for great service, but most importantly I like to know that it is being handled by people who have seen it all before, done it all before and know the immigration business backwards and forwards.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in using the services of the Hong Kong Visa Centre again in the future – it certainly is the best, and if you, like me, enjoy the sleep-well-at-night-factor of handing it all over for someone to ‘get on with it and let me know when it is done’, it is the only place to go! “

Stephen followed through my case for around ten months and managed everything

“My situation was complicated.

I only had a month to go until I qualified for the right of abode after 7 years , but then had to leave Hong Kong as my husband was sent on secondment to Latin America. It seemed I was going to miss out by just a few weeks after being in Hong Kong all those years.

Stephen helped me apply for PR one month before the due date, the day before we left Hong Kong and amazingly I received the confirmation letter that I had achieved PR a few months later!

I had always planned to come back for a trip around six months later and, after Stephen had managed things with immigration in the interim, he arranged my interview when I was back and I am now a proud HK permanent resident!

There is no way I could have done this on my own. The Platinum fee was great value for money as Stephen followed through my case for around ten months and managed everything: advising on documents, developing the argument , completing all the forms and corresponding with immigration all throughout that time.

He’s even organised someone to pick up my smartID card and send it to me in South America as I can’t even stay long enough for that to be ready!

Everyone is very impressed that I have managed to get my PR!

Many thanks Hong Kong Visa Centre!”
